Domain Locking:
We lock all domains under our control for added
security. We will only unlock a domain name after an email request of
the registrant (owner) or listed administrative contact has been made
and then verified over the phone to confirm the email request was
legitimate. We also employ our own private contact system for all
domains we manage. What this means is that while your name or company
may be listed as the registrant of the domain name, all contact requests
are referred to us. Your physical and mailing address, phone
number and email addresses are not exposed to the internet via WHOIS
search. This triple layer of protection has helped us to eliminate
domain hijacking; and is included with all domain names that we maintain
through our registrar.
Domain Names, Domains name registration and management:
When you purchase one of
our hosting plans, we would prefer to transfer your existing domain name to our registrar instead of keeping the name at Network Solutions, DomainPeople, Register.com, or wherever you originally registered
it. This enables a smooth transition and reliable hosting of your web site. We have found that this is the best way for us to satisfy your hosting needs. If your domain is not registered with our registrar, we will need the account username and password of your current registrar
account unless you know how to change the Nameserver information
yourself, or know someone who will do it for you. If you are adamant
about keeping your domain name with your current domain name registrar,
we will be happy to waive the domain name fee, however, doing so will void any and all expressed or implied warranties on how fast we can set up your domain; and we cannot be held responsible if your domain name gets hijacked later on.
We suggest that if you are going to manage any domain name yourself, you pay for
Private Domain Name Registration. The fee for this
added service is different from registrar to registrar but is well worth
the price. However, when you let us
manage your domain name, we take care of all of that using our own
"triple-action" privacy
procedures, so that you are never bothered with spam, junk mail or
phone calls in reference to your domain name. This is also referred to
as our "no-hijack" guarantee. Unfortunately, some
unscrupulous registrars and web hosting company employ unethical tactics
to trick people into switching their domain name registrations and/or web
hosting and this often leads to down-time that can exceed several
months. Don't let your web site be destroyed by down-time! Let us secure
the domain name and hosting for you, it's what we do! :-)

While our business office is located in Mohave Valley, AZ, the best
available bandwidth for professional and reliable web hosting is not. We
could host our servers in Las Vegas, only 100 miles away, or Phoenix,
almost 250 miles away, but none of the data centers in either of these
cities can provide the kind of redundancy and bandwidth we need to
provide professional and reliable web hosting to our clients.
Our Tier 4 world-class
data center is located in
Scranton, Pennsylvania. The Scranton NOC (Network
Operations Center) is one of the largest in the United States and has an
incredible track record of connectivity and redundancy.
The facility features about 100,000 square feet of total
rack space, redundant UPS systems, generator backup, VESPA detection systems, closed circuit monitoring of all areas and entrances, card key access, 24 hour manned security, redundant HVAC A/C systems, and
OC192 fiber-optic
connection from up to 10 TIER 1 primary internet providers and up to 12 secondary providers for the ultimate in
load balancing and connectivity.
Don't let small town or other
"local" providers sell you short. If their data center is not in a major
Internet hub (Los Angeles, Scranton, Dallas, San Jose, etc.) your web
site can easily be slowed and even shut down from just a small jump in
traffic. Not all large Metropolitan areas are alike either, especially
when it comes to high-bandwidth connections to the internet. Cities like
Las Vegas and Phoenix might sound great, but in reality they do not have
the available bandwidth to support mission critical web hosting. | |
